3.5 Surfer Stars on Goodreads Read from February 23 to 28, 2016 I didn't realize until I started reading Talon, that its a spin off from Sybil Bartel’s Unchecked series.. Although it clearly states that Talon is a standalone novel, I felt extremely lost at times when Characters I didn't know popped up!  Even with this, I did think this book overall was enjoyable and action packed. The next book in the series is about Neil, and I would love to read about him.
